Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book?
I would recommend that you aim to book your photographer soon after you have set a date/booked your venue.
I take bookings one,two and three years in advance,iv'e even had couples book me 5 years in advance. It mean's once you have found your venue
I have plenty of time to dedicate time on looking at your venue, the style of photograhy you want and also time to work
with you on those special spots that made you fall in love with your venue, making sure we know each inch of your venue.
How do we make a booking?
Ahh well, first I would recommend that you send me an inquiry so that I can check if your date is free.
Then we can sit and chat about your day, i can even bring along some of my previous work, ill even bring
some albums for you to look through.
If your happy with what you see then we can secure your date with a 20% booking fee.
I will then send you over a signed confirmation and contract.
That will be your date secured and balance will be due 4 weeks prior to wedding.
Do you charge for mileage?
Depending on how far the venue is from G74 postcode. Wedding's booked outside a 50-mile radius may be subjected to an additional charge.
Not to worry though as we can chat about this.
We hate having our picture taken, do we have to pose?
Most certainly not, even us photographers hate getting our pictures taken so I know exactly how that feels.
I will be clicking away without you even realising, getting those candid pictures of natural smiles.
I will suggest certain spots etc that you will love when you see the finishing picture.
I have had many of couples who have been scared/worried about the camera on the day
and they have felt at ease with my style of photography and came back
telling me that they didn't realise I was taken pictures.
Can we meet you at the venue?
Absolutely, no problem with this, I actually love meeting couples at their venue as it gives me a chance to
see what you loved about the location. We can even walk around while chatting letting you both point
out key spots that you fell in love with.
What if the weather is not in our favour?
Not to worry, i have taken many of pictures in rain, wind and even snow. I always have an umberella available,
and rain can produce some stunning images.
But, if you really don't want to go out in the rain we can always go out later when the weather is more permiting.
If not then we will find spots within the inside of the venue.
Do you have business insurance?
Yes I do. I am insured for public liability and professional indemnity cover.
Do you have more than one set of equipment?
Yes I have more than one spare of everything.
